To take a resource offline

1. Open Cluster Administrator.
2. In the console tree, click the Resources folder.
3. In the details pane, click the resource you want.
4. On the File menu, click Take Offline.

Caution

• Taking a resource offline causes all resources that depend on that resource to be taken offline.
